Y el ej\u00e9rcito de esa \u00e9poca mat\u00f3 a un asistente m\u00edo. Tuvo una herida muy grave y le tuvieron que amputar la pierna. El libro habla sobre todas las veces que pregunt\u00e9 por ese joven, hasta que un d\u00eda lleg\u00f3 un telegrama que dec\u00eda tan solo: \u201cEl hombre muri\u00f3\u201d. Y pens\u00e9 que tambi\u00e9n a m\u00ed me pasaba algo parecido.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\" class=\"MsoNormal\"><em><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: Arial; color: #262626\" lang=\"EN-US\">\u2013\u00bfSe sinti\u00f3 morir? <o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\" class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: Arial; color: #262626\" lang=\"EN-US\">\u2013S\u00ed. Sent\u00eda que el pa\u00eds hab\u00eda muerto, que hab\u00eda capitulado ante la dictadura. Yo a veces he comparado la situaci\u00f3n de Nigeria bajo la dictadura militar con la experiencia espa\u00f1ola con Franco.
